About me

In 1958 my Dad bought his first Austin Seven at the age of 16. He went on to own over 100 models in his lifetime and always did his own upholstery, as a hobby, on his industrial Singer.

Over the years I helped him out with his part-time restoration and took over an interest in trimming from around 2010 onwards, based in Yorkshire.

Going full time in trimming work in 2012, I’ve worked on over 200 cards and have a huge enthusiasm for accuracy and originality. I’ve specialised in Austin 7’s in particular.

Where I am now

Now based in a good sized unit in my wife’s home county of Northumberland I offer a full and complete trimming service on all pre-war and classic cars. I can work either through the post or directly on the car in my fully insured workshop easily accessible by main roads near the beautiful Northumberland coastline.
